Bob and Ann retired in 1988, with their son continuing the tradition by opening Late Nite Pizza until his untimely death in 1997. The business was sold to Mike and Charlotte Schull, re-opening under a new name, Mad Dog's Pizza. They kept the same pizza style while adding more items to the menu. They even kept the same phone numbers!
Jill and Don Johnson came along in July 2010 and opened Hometown Classic Pizza. Jill and Don kept everything as traditionally classic to 1966, using the same pizza crust recipes and the distinctive tastes of the sauces, meats, and cheeses. In July 2014, Hometown Classic Pizza opened on the Square in Shelbyville, IN.

Back in 1966, Greenfield's original Pizza Palace owners, Ann Brinkman and Bob Schrieber, hired numerous high school students over the years. One of them was our own Don Johnson who delivered pizza pies all throughout his high school days and worked his way up to manager in 1973.
